You’ll Want To Hear This Preview Of New Foo Fighters Music

Foo Fighters have revealed a snippet of a raging new song (that has something to do with the phrase “Nothing’s set in stone”) off their upcoming five-song EP (possibly titled 2nd Century A.D.) on their mysterious countdown website.

All this secrecy and intentional vagueness is enough to make you wish for the days of months-long rollouts aided by behemoth major labels. But the bit of the song we can hear does sound pretty cool.

The Foos have revealed the titles of all five songs on the EP. Check out the tracklisting below:

Iron Rooster
Neverending Sigh
Saint Cecilia
Savior Breath
Sean

Dave Grohl let it slip to an Austin City Limits Festival crowd that the band had recorded the five songs in the Texas capital.

“You know what I did last night? We recorded five f*cking new songs in your beautiful city.”

Foo Fighters recently canceled their tour in the wake of the Paris terror attacks. The band released a statement explaining their decision on Facebook.

“It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can’t continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.”
