When Trent Reznor tweeted, “Music’s biggest night…to be disrespected. A heartfelt F*CK YOU guys” on Sunday night, the fellas in Vampire Weekend thought the Nine Inch Nails frontman was pissed at them, and a wee little something came out of their ends, probably. (Also, ew.) One does NOT upset Reznor, but luckily for VW’s Chris Tomson, the “one” in question was the Grammys, which trimmed Nine Inch Nails down to Seven.
We saw that last night and we were worried for a second that it was about us because NIN were in our category. [Vampire Weekend won Best Alternative Music Album for Modern Vampires of the City over Hesitation Marks.] So we thought, “Oh, damn. Is Trent Reznor pissed at the Dubs?” (Via)
