Here Are The Top ‘Most Liked’ Songs In The History Of Pandora

Pandora has been a gift from the phone app heavens since its inception 10 years ago. Sometimes, it can steer us wrong. For some reason, it really wants me to like Jack Johnson despite my every protest — even on a channel based off The Replacements. But it is also a glorious way to spend the work day jamming to a reasonable assembly of appropriate tunes. BuzzFeed asked Pandora what 10 songs in its 10-year history have received the most “thumbs up” or likes from listeners. Here are their answers:

10. The Fray, “How to Save a Life”

9. Adele, “Someone Like You”

8. Gotye, “Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra)”

7. One Republic, “Counting Stars”

6. Maroon 5, “She Will Be Loved”

5. Goo Goo Dolls, “Iris”

4. Mario, “Let Me Love You”

3. Imagine Dragons, “Radioactive”

2. Drake, “The Motto”

And finally, with over 20 million thumbs up, the song that defined the ’80s and a weird chunk of 2009…Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” at number one.

Who could possibly be responsible for the popularity of some of these songs? We are. All of us. If you’re saying you didn’t like that Gotye song, you’re a liar and you know it, and if you’re not already crying singing the chorus to “Iris,” I don’t even know you.
