Unicorns, forgotten names, respect for other people’s business, and pilgrims (yes, of the 1600s variety) were among the random items discussed last night on Jimmy Kimmel‘s “3 Ridiculous Questions” segment with DJ Khaled. As the late night talk show host served apple vodka martinis, he asked a series of unrelated impromptu questions to the 40-year-old record producer/rapper/radio personality/internet phenomenon, who sported a purple leisure suit and his signature flashy gold chains. DJ Khaled, for his part, hardly skipped a beat or seemed put off by the line of questioning and maintained an overwhelmingly positive attitude, even if the questions were a tad confusing, if not thought-provoking.
Earlier this week on Kimmel’s show, the motivational personality made some questionable and controversial remarks as he declared his intentions to Snapchat the birth of his child. The jury is still out on how the mother of his child feels on that one, but we’ll find out soon enough in Snap form.
DJ Khaled has also been releasing singles off his upcoming ninth studio album, Major Key, due out July 29. Last month, he debuted the song “For Free” with Drake; and this week, he finally dropped another highly anticipated single: the collaboration with Jay Z and Future, “I Got the Keys” during the BET Awards this past Sunday.
