If Justin Bieber Was U.S. President, He’d ‘Probably Fix Some Of The Gun Laws’

The former child star known as Justin Bieber works hard these days at proving he’s changed his ways. His new song is surprisingly catchy, but his tarnished image is still in need of some ongoing repairs. In the space of a very short time, Bieber was caught stumbling out of a brothel and vandalizing his neighbor’s property. Those DUI drag racing charges didn’t help, nor did his tendency to pee into restaurant cleaning buckets.

Bieber’s fighting an uphill battle, for the young tween audience is hard to recapture once they move onto other teen idols. If he can’t successfully transition to adult star, we may see Bieber on a reality show sooner rather than later. Bieber recently shed tears onstage at the VMAs, and he’s taken to regularly posting prayer photos on Instagram.

This tactic may not work out as planned. However, Bieber does have a new interview with Clique where he does not lose his cool. He talks about a variety of topics, including his top five MCs: “Tupac, Mase, Nas, Biggie, Eminem. Eminem is first.” Bieber is also learning from Kanye West:

“We did some stuff for the album, I don’t know if it’s going to make the album. Really cool, really New York vibe. Kanye’s a talker. You get him in a room and he starts talking and ranting, I just sit and I listen. He’s been through a lot of stuff and he’s not just talking to talk, he has something to say from his heart. I just sit and listen because he’s really smart.”

This little tidbit — that Kanye is a big talker and ranter — seems accurate. After all, we may see Kanye on a presidential run for 2020. Bieber reveals what he would do as U.S. President:

“I’d probably fix some of the gun laws. In Canada we don’t really have any guns and there’s no gun violence. That really solves it, that’s for protection but it always ends up in some bozo’s hand.”

We need not worry about watching Bieber, who was born and bred in Canada, step up as Kanye’s running mate. This interview wasn’t so bad, and perhaps Bieber will soon mature. Although the most likely scenario is that manager Scooter Braun finally talked some sense into his wayward client. Now if only he could stop Ariana Grande from licking donuts.
