It’s no secret that Kesha has gotten treatment to deal with eating disorder issues and she’s levelled some serious allegations of abuse (physical and verbal) against producer Dr. Luke with Kesha’s mom blasting her daughter’s former frequent collaborator for fostering an environment she says created extreme pressure to be thin. (Dr. Luke’s camp has vehemently denied these claims.) As a grown-up at your day care likely told you, mocking someone’s appearance is a total dick move. Taking shots at someone that’s expressed body image issues? Doubly dicky.
As Friday was melting into Saturday, Kesha swung back at a goon that was taking jabs at her appearance and labeling her a “whore.” Unlike “@jackknife76,” Kesha’s response didn’t require any cheap shots. Just a message of empowerment to stomp out her bully.
