Affectionately referred to as “Nerd Prom” by, well, nerds, the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner takes place this Saturday, April 25 in Washington, D.C. Hosted by SNL‘s Cecily Strong this year, the event is essentially an excuse for the nation’s political press to hobnob with their favorite celebs.
This time around, the guest list includes Russell Wilson, Chrissy Teigen, the casts of The Walking Dead, Empire, Game of Thrones, and Modern Family, to name a few. But there’s one invitee in 2015 that could actually shake things up for once: Run the Jewels hip-hop giant, Killer Mike.
According to the Washington Post, Mike Bigga will rub elbows with the likes of Donald Trump and several other very reasonable people we’re sure he totally agrees with. While we’re sure he cleans up well in black tie attire, it would truly make our day if he hijacked the mic during a boring moment and performed “Reagan” or “Don’t Die” for all the folks who still deny that we have race relations and policing problems today. Can someone add El-P as a +1?
