Killer Mike’s ‘Big Beast’ Video Is Basically ‘Drive 2,’ But With More Violence

Here’s a recipe for success:

1. Be Killer Mike and record “Big Beast” with Bun B and T.I.

2. Release “Big Beast” on an album called R.A.P. Music, one of the best records of 2012 so far.

3. Make a nine-minute video for “Big Beast” that doubles as an homage to Drive.

Oh, and throw in some strippers, ax-related violence, Ronald Reagan masks, cannibalism, and punishing beats, courtesy of producer El-P (whose Cancer 4 Cure is also pretty great). Mix it all together and you’ve got one heck of a video for one heck of a song from one HELL of an album. It’s everything Kanye’s “Mercy” isn’t.
