Well, well, well — what a difference a couple of weeks makes. Take the venomous album reviews and the cringe-worthy SNL appearance that made her the absolute obsession of the internet and toss them out the window, because Lana Del Rey, no BS, absolutely slayed America with her performance of “Video Games” on Letterman last night. SHE EVEN SMILED!
Seriously, what she served up last night could not have more different than what she served up on SNL. It was so good, in fact, that I think Letterman, and Paul Shaffer for that matter, may have fallen in love with her right there on the stage. And who could blame them?! Good for her.
