Madonna’s jaunt through Australia on her Rebel Heart tour has been an absolute mess. Madonna has already responded to critiques that she’s having a “meltdown” and now she’s narrowly avoided landing in hot water after exposing a 17-year-old’s breast to a packed arena.
The incident came during a stop in Brisbane on March 17. Madge invited fan Josephine Georgiou up on stage during the song “Unapologetic Bitch.” The singer regularly invites someone up and spanks them during the song. But the incident occured before Madonna could start the song.
“She’s the kind of girl you just want to slap on the a**. And pull -” Madonna said as she yanked on the girl’s corset top “Oh, sh*t! I’m sorry. Sexual harassment. You can do the same to me.”
“Good luck,” she added, gesturing to her own elaborate costume.
While Australian legal experts said that the act could constitute sexual assault, Georgiou says she has no plans to press charges against the singer. In an interview with the Courier Mail, the teen downplayed the moment.
“Only I get to decide if I’m humiliated or not. Why would people assume I am humiliated by my own breast, nipple or body? I didn’t realize my boob was such a big deal- it was nothing to me … Seriously, why would I sue Madonna for the best moment of life?”
She added that the only reason she appeared shocked was because she was standing next to Madonna.
