Lemme just go ahead and get this out of the way: I kind of have a massive crush on adorable Best Coast songstress Bethany Cosentino. She doesn’t know it yet, but I will hold her in my considerable Cajun arms one day. (I give great, totally non-creepy hugs, Bethany.) I WILL HOLD BETHANY, DAMMIT!
So it’s pretty much a no-brainer that I’d post her new video — for the song “Our Deal” — here. The Drew Barrymore-directed vid features Bethany — a denizen of the internet who has featured LOLcats in past videos — running around in, as Consequence of Sound accurately described, “a Grease/Rebel Without A Cause-esque street gangs battling in LA like a West Coast version of West Side Story.”
Additionally, the video touts an impressive roster of co-stars, including: Donald Glover, Miranda Cosgrove, Alia Shawkat (Maeby Fünke from Arrested Development), Chloe Moretz (The girl superhero in Kickass) and Tyler Posey (MTV’s Teen Wolf).
