Watch Nirvana Play With Lorde At Their Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction

Nirvana had Joan Jett fill in for Kurt Cobain during last night’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as expected, but they had another trick up their now-flannel-less sleeves: three more ladies helmed the band during their set.

The most compelling arrangement likely took form for the band’s finale, a rendition of “All Apologies” (video below) featuring Lorde on vocals. Along with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear, the other ladies who fronted for the band earlier in the night — Joan Jett (“Smells Like Teen Spirit”), Kim Gordon (“Aneurysm”), and St. Vincent/Annie Clark (“Lithium”) — were also on stage.
