Paramore Reunites With Zac Farro Onstage For First Time In Seven Years

Paramore has seen its share of lineup changes over the years, and some of them have been more shaky than others. But during a recent show, former (and maybe current) Paramore member Zac Farro proved that there was no bad blood.

During a HalfNoise concert — that’s Farro’s new band — he invited Hayley Williams and Taylor York onstage to perform a cover of Radiohead’s “House Of Cards.”

Farro left the band with his brother Josh in a messy storm back in 2010, but early last year, he began showing up in Paramore’s behind-the-scenes videos from their upcoming album. Despite Farro saying he didn’t rejoin the band, Paramore seemingly confirmed his involvement by selling merch with a childhood picture of Farro. And while that’s up in the air, Farro has definitely been working with Hayley Williams, who appears on HalfNoise’s “As U Wave.”

The HalfNoise gig was a record release show at Lucky Bamboo China Bistro in Nashville to support their The Velvet Face EP, which came out last month. Williams was stoked about joining her friend on stage, writing on Twitter that she “lost her mind.”

As for the new Paramore album, which Farro drums on, they’ve apparently finished recording. However, with no release date announced, fans are getting antsy on when to expect the band’s fifth album, the follow-up to 2013’s self-titled LP.
