NERD Is Headlining The Wildly Diverse 2018 Parklife Festival Along With Skepta And The Xx

Announcing the headliners and show dates with a snazzy animated video (which you can watch above), Parklife is gearing up for its 2018 festival, including Skepta, The xx, and Liam Gallagher.

The annual festival, organized by The Warehouse Project, dates back to 2010 and takes place in Manchester, England. 2017’s lineup included headliners Frank Ocean, A Tribe Called Quest, and The 1975, while other big names to head the fest include Major Lazer, Ice Cube, Disclosure, Nas, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips, and Calvin Harris. The popular festival has brought in well over 100,000 attendees in past years.

The 2018 lineup reflects the historical diversity of the festival by covering everything from indie to electronic, along with both traditional hip-hop and UK grime. The full roster is available below, but some names definitely stand out, like Lorde, Bonobo, American rappers ASAP Rocky and Vince Staples, grime up-and-comer Dave, and grime legends Giggs, J Hus, and Bugzy Malone. A couple of surprise additions include British throwback R&B group Soul II Soul and 52-year-old, British jungle and drum-and-bass pioneer Goldie, who will apparently be performing a set comprised of ’92-’94 era classics.

Parklife comes to Heaton Park, Manchester June 9-10th, with tickets available for purchase beginning this Thursday. Check out the full lineup below.
