Phoenix’s ‘Take Away Show’ Is The Musical Performance Short Film Your Monday Needs

It’s Monday. And Mondays — except for the Breaking Bad water cooler action on the internet — suck. So why not ignore your boss for 20 minutes and watch something beautiful that will fill you with happy: this short film, La Blogotheque’s Take Away Show, featuring the guys from Phoenix performing in an airplane, among other places.

Reports Consequence of Sound:

The setlist includes “Bourgeois” sung in a flying plane (over the Alps), “Entertainment” filmed by a drone, at dawn in the empty gardens of the Palace of Versailles, “Trying to be cool” performed in a boat in Neptune’s bassins, and “Countdown” played in a small garden in the Palace of Versailles.

As La Blogotheque notes, “everything was filmed with one camera, sound recorded on site. EVEN IN THE PLANE. EVEN FOR THE DRONE.”

And in case you missed it previously, be sure to check out Phoenix performing outside the The Palace Of Versailles at dawn.
