While Pink Floyd‘s days as a full band may be officially done, Roger Waters is still touring with his live stage performance of The Wall. But this recent solo run hasn’t been without its share of controversy. While recently condemning Bon Jovi for playing in Israel, earlier this month, Howard Stern took to the radio to, we’ll say, express his displeasure with Waters.

Well, now Waters has moved on to American politics, and his new target is presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. In speaking with Rolling Stone, the Dark Side of the Moon singer threw his support firmly behind Bernie Sanders and said of Hillary:

“I have an awful worry that she might become the first woman president to drop a f*cking nuclear bomb on somebody. There is something scarily hawkish about her, and she has that politician look down of, ‘You are never going to get a word of truth out of me.'”

While he conceded that she is a better alternative than any of the GOP candidates, he still has reservations about her and would prefer Bernie Sanders.

“He seems to speak the truth, far as one can tell at this point. He seems prepared to stand up against big money and the banks and stand up for the predicaments of minorities, the middle class and the working class in this country.”

It is probably worth noting that, as a British citizen, Waters cannot vote in the United States. But still, he can advocate for whomever he likes in our American election. Take that, Canada!
