At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Sleater-Kinney are freaking legends. And they turned in an appropriately great performance of “Bury Our Friends” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday.
Any rockists out there feeling like their favorite band didn’t make it into our Best Albums of 2015 list would do well to give the video a watch and admit that the greatest rock band currently working was in the top 10 where it belonged (a few spots above the runners-up in Titus Andronicus). Go give No Cities to Love another listen and check out the group absolutely murdering “Rock Lobster” while you’re at it.
