Spotify Can Use Your Music Tastes To Determine Which ‘Star Wars’ Character You Are

Spotify knows you better than you know yourself (and it definitely knows you better than some shady quiz website), so you can probably trust its pick for which Star Wars character you are. Spotify, in coordination with the release of The Force Awakens, is using all that data it collects on your music tastes to match you with a Star Wars character (and a character-themed playlist):

Go to spotify-starwars.com and log on to your Spotify account to find which Star Wars character from the past, present and future matches most closely with your musical tastes. Pro-tip, if you listen to a lot of ’80s hair metal then you will probably get Chewbacca.

Apparently, the feature is pretty extensive. It includes playlists for the big-name, original trilogy characters, obviously, but also includes people from the prequels and new characters like Kylo Ren. For what it’s worth, the new feature confirmed that I am the absolute worst.

I’m thinking Spotify just picked up on my burning hatred for younglings. But there are certainly worse characters to be.

I bet his playlist is nothing but all-white reggae bands deploying offensively bad Caribbean accents. Give it a try and share in my surprise that the playlists aren’t just an hour of the Mos Eisley Cantina music.
