Annie Clark can add “expert mixtape maker” to her résumé (alongside “shredding guitar goddess” and “David Byrne muse”).

The singer better known as St. Vincent unveiled the first episode of her Apple Music Beats 1 radio show last night with a lovingly compiled mixtape for an 11-year-old girl named Piper.

The show, dubbed St. Vincent’s Mixtape Delivery Service, revolves around Clark making and airing mixes for people who submitted a bit about themselves to her website earlier this year. She will air a new mix every Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST.

Clark says she hopes the mixes “will serve as a soundtrack for whatever is going on in their lives,” and she seems to have nailed her first mix. Piper admitted to liking Chvrches and Purity Ring, so Clark made a mix of similar music that she might have missed “because she’s 11.”

The mix is a who’s who of influences for Piper’s favorite bands and includes tracks by Stereolab, Devo and David Bowie, among others. She also talks with Piper about the selections in between songs.

Check out the radio show in full or enjoy a Reddit-compiled playlist of just the songs below.
