Rock-isn’t-dead rock isn’t dead! The Strokes announced that they are working on a new album during their set at Landmark Festival in Washington, D.C.
In sterotypically aloof fashion, Julian Casablancas told the crowd that The Strokes are going to “be back soon. We’ll be back in the studio and sh*t.” Amanda de Cadenet, the wife of guitarist Nick Valensi, confirmed that Casablncas wasn’t blowing smoke in a response on Twitter.

“Julian let the cat out of the bag,” she said.
