Listen To All Of 2015’s Biggest Hits In One Song In ‘The United State Of Pop’

For nearly a decade, DJ Earworm has released a mashup of all the biggest pop hits of the year. The annual mashup, The United State of Pop, is a yearly viral sensation as the DJ combines the top pop hits together seamlessly. Since 2007, the top 25 hits have been featured in the video. In 2015, DJ Earworm decided to double that, combining the top 50 hits this year. The result for this year’s United State of Pop is the 5-minute long “50 Shades of Pop.”

“It’s a more eclectic mix than it was five years ago,” said DJ Earworm when explaining to Billboard how different the songs were in style and tempo. The mix takes megahits like The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face,” Major Lazer’s “Lean On,” Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk,” and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” among many others from artists like Drake, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, Fetty Wap and, of course, Adele. Taylor Swift has the most songs on the mix, which is no surprise as her album, 1989, was at or near the top of the charts all year.

Watch the video to see if your favorite song made the cut as one of the biggest pop songs of 2015. And just in case you were living under a rock musically for the entire year, here is the perfect way to catch up.
