“Cool thing about doing a show in NYC, anyone can drop by,” Jimmy Fallon tweeted around 7 p.m. last night; twenty minutes later, I was getting kicked out of his studio, with my rare collection of fossils in the shape of Burt Reynolds’ mustache in hand. I guess “anyone” doesn’t mean ANYONE these days. I probably should have read the rest of the tweet: “@KanyeWest surprised us and performed ‘Bound 2’ tonight on Late Night! #nojoke.”
#nojoke, indeed. Yeezus performed “Bound 2” live for the first time ever, with some help from the Roots, Charlie Wilson, and a children’s choir. Very much recommended for when you’re bounding away from NBC security.
