‘Weird Al’ Yankovic’s ‘Foil’ Takes On Lorde’s ‘Royals’ With Help From Patton Oswalt

While it starts out as “Weird Al” Yankovic’s latest in a long line of food-themed parody songs and music videos, “Foil” is deeper, darker and just as flat-out wonderful as “Tacky” and “Word Crimes.” A parody of Lorde’s massive hit “Royals,” the third song and video in as many days for the King takes on everything from doggy bags at restaurants and preserving our snacks to the Illuminati controlling our brain waves and aliens probing our butts. And while “Word Crimes” abandoned the celebrity cameos that we loved in “Tacky,” the star power is back in this third video from Al’s new album, “Mandatory Fun,” with Patton Oswalt and two of our other favorite comics that you can point out for yourselves.
