Joan Jett wants more women in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Wait until she sees the lineup for the upcoming Skate and Surf Festival without any all-male bands. Actually, she can’t because there is no lineup… Pixable removed every group without at least one female member from that two-day dude fest in Asbury Park, and it’s now a giant censor bar with a teasing “many more.”
Other festivals fared slightly better, though not by much.
Rather than criticize, I’m going to suggest: Bookers, why not Perfect Pussy?
