Former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle has paid $1 million in restitution to 10 of his child pornography and sexual abuse victims. The remaining payments to his last four victims are expected before a judge sentences him to a minimum of five years in prison as part of a plea deal that other child pornographers said was too lenient.

The Associated Press reports that Fogle’s payments amount to $100,000 each for the victims and that they will cover mental health care, medical care, and other measures that Fogle’s victims need to recover from the trauma inflicted on them. The prosecutor on the case said he had only worked on one other case that resulted in restitution being paid before sentencing. Fogle is expected to make the remaining four payments before he’s sentenced to prison time on Nov. 19.

Fogle had been charged with having sex with two girls under the age of 18 and paying them for sex, as well as viewing child pornography provided to him by an associate named Russell Taylor at his child obesity foundation. While Fogle had not viewed content featuring all of Taylor’s victims, prosecutors argued that Fogle failed to protect all of them by not alerting authorities.
