Trump Was Heckled At Least Five Separate Times During A North Carolina Rally

Presidential candidate Donald Trump was repeatedly heckled at a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday night, with at least five different occurrences of protesters shouting down the leading Republican candidate with calls of “Black Lives Matter.”

As per WNCN, the local affiliate for NBC, Trump smiled at each instance while security and other supporters used force in escorting the protesters out of the rally. Talking Points Memo further detailed the removal of the protesters from the premises, noting that “the room erupted in a chorus of boos, and supporters waved American flags at the departing protesters.”

Trump, who has been known to tell a fib or two, referred to those who were kicked out as individuals even though video from the event clearly shows groups of protesters being removed. WNCN reported the number of those forced to leave the rally at 18.

This is only the most recent example of Black Lives Matter protests at a Trump rally. At a rally in Alabama last month, a protester was kicked and punched by Trump supporters while being forced out, leading the real estate mogul to remark that the man “should’ve been roughed up.”
