Yesterday, the House Select Committee on Benghazi dropped its final report, which came down on the Defense Department for failing to provide proper security protocols for the U.S. consulate. There weren’t any major bombshells other than fingers pointed at the Obama administration, and many aren’t happy about this outcome. One person is particularly upset. Patricia Smith’s son, Sean, was one of the four Americans killed in the 2012 attack in Libya. She visited Fox Business’ Risk & Reward to demand Clinton be jailed.
This isn’t the first time Smith has spoken to the media. She followed up on a Democratic debate after Clinton expressed sympathy for the Benghazi victims’ families. The sentiment didn’t go over well with the crowd, and Smith popped up on television to say Clinton deserves a “special place in hell” for her role in the tragedy. All along, the former Secretary of State has maintained that she never lied about what happened in Libya, just that information may have changed. Smith wasn’t satisfied with these explanations, and she unloaded on Clinton while visiting Fox Business:
“All she has done is lied and people are believing her. Have her call me! I’m still waiting. Hillary, I’m waiting for what you promised me. All I heard was you getting on TV calling me a liar. That’s not true, Hillary. I am not the liar. You are the liar.”
Smith believes the world must see “Hillary in stripes” over what happened to her son. She also spoke with Fox 10 in Phoenix to brand Clinton an “evil, evil person.” Smith claims she spoke with her son on the phone, and “he told me he was going to die” because more security would not arrive. Pat Smith says Clinton gave her a hug and “lied to my son’s face over my son’s coffin.” She simply won’t rest until the presumptive Democratic nominee sits in prison.
