Bernie Sanders Will Come To Your Rescue If You Faint At His Rally

The race for the White House is a pretty grueling ordeal for everyone involved. The candidates are hustling non-stop, media outlets (like us!) are digging into every nook and cranny, Darrell Hammond’s SNL workload increases and even us civilians can get woozy long before the conclusion of another presidential battle royale. There’s just a lot to take in, is what we’re saying.

That brings us to the tidy lil’ slice of video we have plunked at the top of the post. Democratic contender Bernie Sanders found himself rushing to the aid of a man that fainted at a recent rally As you can see, Sanders rushes off from his podium at the New Hampshire event to check on the gentleman that hit the floor. It’s a moment of genuine concern and we like to imagine every candidate would probably at least send a “u ok?” text to someone in the same spot.

NBC’s Frank Thorp reports that the man that fainted was able to leave the event under his own power. It’s kind of hard to finesse that sort of exit.

This is far from the first time Sanders has come to someone’s aid during his campaign. Heck, last month he called for a doctor to assist a woman that fainted during an event in Alabama. The speech was paused to allow paramedics to provide the necessary medical assistance.

Maybe in 2020 we’ll see candidates bring their own chillout tents so attendees will have somewhere more relaxed to crash mid-rally. If this does become a reality, please mail us $5,000,000 on general principle.
