Donald Trump Allegedly Tried To Fire Nancy O’Dell After She Refused His Sexual Advances

The GOP has been scrambling to put out Donald Trump‘s fires on Friday night, and the hits just keep coming. In the wake of the tapes recording Trump giving a very lewd and casual account of sexual assault, it was also revealed that he made very crude references to a woman who rebuffed his advances in 2005, .

“You know I moved on her actually. You know she was down on Palm Beach. I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and f*ck her. She was married … I took her out [for] furniture [shopping]. I moved on her like a b*tch, but I couldn’t get there, and she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

It soon became clear that the married journalist who wouldn’t sleep with him was Access Hollywood‘s Nancy O’Dell. At the time of the assault, Trump had just married his pregnant third wife, Melania. The Daily Beast reports that O’Dell worked with Trump on his Miss USA pageant in 2004 and 2005, and allegedly, in 2007, Trump tried to get O’Dell, who was five months pregnant at the time, fired from her position. Apparently, Trump cited O’Dell’s body as his issue, because he no longer liked looking at her. However, NBC stood by her and O’Dell went on to co-host that year’s pageant.

Go ahead and add this story to the ever growing list of examples of Trump’s misogyny. It’s not a joke anymore.
