It’s no secret that the issue of gun control is near and dear to Amy Schumer’s heart. Following the tragic shooting during a Louisiana screening of Trainwreck last summer, Schumer has worked closely with her cousin, New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, on a plan that would make it harder for violent criminals and the mentally ill to purchase firearms.

So it should come as no surprise that Schumer is finally tackling the issue in this week’s episode of Inside Amy Schumer, as you can see in this preview clip released by Comedy Central. In the clip, Schumer and comedian Kyle Dunnigan play home-shopping hosts who extol the virtues of gun ownership, informing call-in viewers how easy it is for even them to obtain a handgun — suspected terrorism or violent background be damned!

“Here is what’s great about this, pretty much anyone can purchase this!” Schumer’s character says as the hosts babble about how “fun” the handgun is, while the “guns sold” ticker climbs up by the second. Laughs aside, the serious messaging is revealed at the end of the sketch, with an invitation for viewers to join Everytown for Gun Safety, which is described as “a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.”

The episode airs tonight, Thursday, April 28, on Comedy Central at 10 p.m.
