Jill Stein Believes Hillary Clinton Was ‘Too Big To Jail’ For Her Private Email Server

With Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump firmly in place as presidential nominees, third party candidates are trying to squeeze their way into the spotlight. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson has made some headway in the polls, possibly thanks to memes, but Green Party candidate Jill Stein is having some trouble standing out from the pack.

Stein, a former doctor and rocker, tried to mount a presidential run in 2012, but failed to gain the proper momentum. And with her support at only 5 percent nationwide, history may be looking to repeat itself. But that hasn’t stopped Stein from challenging the status quo. When she’s not condemning Wi-Fi, Stein is laying out her political agenda. The Green Party candidate stopped by CNN for a town hall session, where she voiced her displeasure at either a Hillary Clinton or a Donald Trump presidency:

“I will have trouble sleeping at night if Donald Trump is elected. I will also have trouble sleeping at night if Hillary Clinton is elected. And as despicable as Donald Trump’s words are, I find Hillary Clinton’s actions and track record is very troubling. We have the unique ability to actually stand up for what it is that the American people want, what everyday people want.”

Stein also believes Clinton got off a bit easy for her private email server controversy, calling her “too big to jail.” But things are not looking too positive for the Stein campaign, as she is trailing in a Texas poll to, uh, Harambe the gorilla.

During this presidential election, many voters are dissatisfied with both major party candidates, and Stein believes she can be a better alternative. But with Harambe maintaining his popularity, Stein faces a tough uphill battle even as a third party option.
