Megyn Kelly Confronts Kellyanne Conway Over Her Claim That Trump Rarely Makes Sexist Remarks

If anyone can vouch for the misogynistic comments that Donald Trump makes about women, Megyn Kelly qualifies. After she mopped the floor with his wiglet at the first Fox News GOP debate — where she asked him why he won’t stop making disparaging comments about women — Trump responded with months of relentless trolling and a flurry of giant “bimbo” tweets. So, when Kelly hosted Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday night, Trump’s treatment of women was the main topic of conversation.

Actually, Kelly didn’t even steer her guest towards the subject. Conway was taking aim at Clinton because “she tried to rough him up over a couple of comments he’s made over 25 years or so with respect to women.” Then Conway complained about how it’s “not nice” that Clinton is running negative ads featuring Trump’s misogynistic comments. Kelly looked exasperated: “Kellyanne, come on … it’s not nice? They are running for president. Of course she’s going to hit him with negative ads.” And Kelly zeroed in on Conway’s claim that Trump’s sexist comments were few and far between. “You know that’s not true. You know he has repeatedly made comments about women — about their looks, about their size.” Conway continued her denial-filled stance, and Kelly firmly stated, “She’s killing him with women.”

Kelly then reminded Conway of the terrible things (like “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping”) that Trump said to former Miss Universe Alicia Machado. In response, Conway tried to change the subject.
