Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor And Marlon Brando Fled NYC Together on 9/11

I can’t think of a better way to close out the day than with this ridiculous and amazing story from the Daily Mail about Michael Jackson, Liz Taylor and Marlon Brando all fleeing New York together in a car on 9/11.

Unlikely as it may seem, details have emerged how Michael Jackson and friend Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando fled New York on the day of the disaster, fearing that they too, would become a target for terrorists.

According to this month’s Vanity Fair magazine, the bizarre road trip also allegedly included regular stops at KFC and Burger King for a hungry Brando.

The magazine reveals how Brando and Taylor were in the Big Apple to watch Jackson perform in concert in Madison Square Garden on September 10. On hearing that the Twin Towers had collapsed the following day, Jackson ‘hollered down the hallway of his hotel’ for everyone in his entourage, including Brando, to leave immediately.

According to a former member of Jackson’s staff, the three friends travelled a total of 535 miles. ‘They actually got as far as Ohio – all three of them, in a car they drove themselves,’ he said.

Can you imagine what it’d be like to be working the drive-thru at a BK or a KFC on 9/11 and have these three drive up in a rental car together? Could that day have been any more strange? This is why I subscribe to Vanity Fair, folks. This kind of journalism must be supported!
