Multiple People Were Shot At A San Bernardino Elementary School

Reports coming out of the Los Angeles, including the above CNN video, indicate that at least four people have been shot at an elementary school in San Bernardino, California. Police say the shooting took place at North Park Elementary school, and two of those who were shot include a teacher the initial gunman along with two students.

KTLA5 is reporting that the incident may be a murder-suicide. Nearby Hillside Elementary School and Cajon High School were put on a precautionary lockdown as emergency crews responded to aid the victims. Students have been evacuated from the school, and the injured students have been transported to the hospital. No reports have been released on the severity of those injured (although the two adults, including the gunman, are now believed to be dead).

As the situation began to unfold, initial details arrived on Twitter.

In 2015, 14 people were killed and 22 others were seriously injured in an ISIS-inspired terror attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. Prior to that incident, the shooters reportedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in a Facebook post.

We will update this post as details continue to surface.
