Scott Baio Claims He Was Attacked By A Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Wife Over His Trump Support

Scott Baio’s support of Donald Trump was the stuff of legends during general election season. He hopscotched through various cable news segments while veering off the rails in a variety of unexpected ways. Baio even declared that he’d happily sacrifice his career for Trump, but he probably didn’t plan on getting attacked. At least, not in more than a verbal way.

TMZ reports that Baio has filed a police report to claim he was physically attacked because he is a Trump supporter. The details of this alleged encounter are rather bizarre, for Baio claims that the incident happened at an elementary school event when another parent attacked him. This other parent is Nancy Mack, the wife of Red Hot Chili Pepper drummer Chad Smith. She reportedly berated and cursed him out before this happened:

We’re told Baio told cops he asked her to quiet down because kids were present, but Mack was undeterred, asking him how he could support a man who said, “Grab ’em by the pussy.” Baio claims she repeatedly screamed, “Grab ’em by the p*ssy.”

Baio asked Nancy to stop, but he claims she kept repeating the comment because she felt everyone needed to hear it, cause Trump used it. Baio told cops at that point Mack attacked him, grabbing him under his arms and then shaking and pushing him.

Sources close to Mack say she was merely trying to show Baio how Trump hugs women and denies any intentional physical aggression.

Mack is currently being investigated for battery in this incident, but Fox News notes that police are “trying to figure out if a crime occurred.” Regardless of whether this entire story is true, Baio would be correct about how repeating Trump’s vulgar “locker room” commentary wasn’t a great idea in front of children. However, Baio barely batted an eye when the Access Hollywood hot mic footage surfaced. He even embraced the conversation by saying he respected and liked Trump because he “talks like a man.”
