Donald Trump Hits Back At ‘B-Actress’ Lena Dunham’s Vow To Move To Canada

Fox and Friends has devolved into a series of near-daily Donald Trump phone calls, and Tuesday morning was no exception. The real-estate mogul chatted about feeling confident about his prospects. This week’s primaries in five states (Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland and Delaware) will give us a better indication of whether his path to the nomination is clear. The unholy deal between Ted Cruz and John Kasich may not work any mojo until the Illinois Primary, but regardless, we’ll soon know whether Trump can gather 1237 delegates.

While speaking to host Steve Doocy, Trump learned of “woman actress” (and Hillary Clinton supporter) Lena Dunham’s promise that she’d move to Canada if he captured the White House. This isn’t an original threat; in fact, people vow to do so during every election cycle. The difference this time around is that folks are lifting fingers to perform Google searches on the matter. If Trump actually wins, the most likely scenario is that his non-fans will go into social-media mourning for a few days and move on with life.

Well, Dunham says she’s serious and has a lovely place to work in Vancouver. Doocy sensed a dueling war of words on the way and posed this question, which followed Trump’s claim that his cabinet will contain lots of ladies:

“Speaking of women, a woman actress by the name of Lena Dunham, she said this yesterday: ‘I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there. She says she’s going to move to Canada, Donald Trump, if you get elected. What’s your message to her?”

Naturally, Trump was ready and waiting in his usual tear down mode. He’s not phased that some creative minds would rather vacate than live under his rule:

“She’s a B-actor, and has no mojo. I heard Whoopi Goldberg said that too. That would be a great, great thing for our country.”

Trump probably couldn’t cope without detractors. He feeds off conflict, which makes him a frightening prospect for foreign policy matters. But alas, he’s already forgotten about cutting down Dunham and moved onto a telling new role — a Bernie Sanders cheerleader.
