The Awful Reactions To Today’s Terrorist Attacks In Paris Are Already Here And They’re Heartbreaking

The horrifying attacks on Paris are barely over and Twitter users from all over America, sitting safely behind their cell phones and computer screens, have signed on to social media to react in the most unpleasant way possible. While even Donald Trump had the good sense to just let the citizens of Paris know that his thoughts were with them, a host of other Twitter users—Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Newt Gingrich among them—had a whole lot of fingers to point at who is to blame for these attacks, as well as a few unkind words for the students protesting racism at universities across the country.

These are some of the most repugnant responses to the terrorist attacks (some via Raw Story) and they really put into stark relief how unpleasant humans can be, even in the wake of an international tragedy. What’s saddest, however, is that these people are choosing to focus on blame and misplaced outrage rather than giving some respect to the victims of this horrible event.

We will continue to keep the people of Paris in our thoughts and update this story with further details as they become available.
