Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for December 29th, 2014. The final episode of Raw for 2014 was hosted by Edge and Christian.
WWE Raw Results 12/29/14
– Edge and Christian announced some matches, attempted a Five Second Pose, then were interrupted by THE BEAST INCARNATE Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. THEY were then interrupted by John Cena, who rose above hate by trying to attack Paul Heyman, then Attitudinally Adjust Brock Lesnar when he came to Heyman’s defense. This all took 15 minutes.
1. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler defeated US Champion Rusev in a non-title Champion vs. Champion match. Rusev was disqualified for refusing to stop kicking Ziggler in the corner. rusev then put Ziggler into a rope-assisted Accolade. Ryback ran out for the save.
– Ryback took us on a video clip-assisted guided tour of his career, his struggles to come back to pro wrestling, and the reason he gets in the ring every day. He finishes by threatening Rusev.
2. Nikki Bella (C) defeated Natalya. Nikka Bella beat her with a Rack Attack after Natalya was distracted by Tyson Kidd.
3. The Usos defeated The Miz/Mizdow (C). The Usos win after a double superkick into a splash from Jimmy Uso onto the Miz. The Usos celebrated in the ring with Naomi.
4. A Returning Bad News Barrett defeated Cesaro. Cesaro cut a promo about not caring about connecting with the audience only to be interrupted by Bad News Barrett. Barrett won after hitting the Bullhammer.
5. Luke Harper defeated Jack Swagger. Luke Harper won with a clothesline.
6. Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins. Reigns hits Rollins with a Superman punch. Before he could spear Rollins, Big Show left commentary to pull Reigns from the ring, throw him across the announce table, then flip the table on top of him.
– Daniel Bryan comes to the ring to discuss his future. Oh who cares he’s back at the Royal Rumble everything is okay again guys everything’s gonna be okay.
7. The Ascension defeated Miz/Mizdow. The Ascension made their Raw debut by quickly putting Miz and Mizdow away with a Fall of Man.
– Edge and Christian co-hosted a Cutting Edge/Peep Show segment. Seth Rollins (accompanied by J&J Security) brags about having the best year of all of the Superstars, then brings out the Big Show. Seth Rollins quickly invites John Cena to the ring. Cena refuses to come out, so Seth and Big Show attack and incapacitate Edge and Christian. Seth hovers his foot over Edge’s neck for an extended period of time, threatening to paralyze Edge if John Cena doesn’t bring the Authority back. John Cena angrily acquiesces. Seth says he’s going to kill Edge anyways. Cena attacks Rollins, but Rollins curbstomps Cena. Raw closes with Heyman, Lesnar, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon coming out to celebrate with the rest of the Authority at the top of the ramp.
