WWE Raw Open Discussion Thread 3/2/15

Tonight, on the With Spandex WWE Raw open discussion thread:

We’re four weeks away from WrestleMania 31, and emotions are running high throughout the WWE Universe. John Cena relentlessly pursues a rematch with United States Champion on The Grandest Stage of Them All, Bray Wyatt continues his quest to lure The Undertaker out of the darkness for a Show of Shows confrontation, and Seth Rollins attempts to coexist with The Authority’s prodigal son, Randy Orton, while waging a war of words with “The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart.

This year’s Road to WrestleMania is already proving to be among the most chaotic in the storied history of The Showcase of the Immortals, but in many ways, we’re just getting started. What excitement awaits live on Raw? WWE.com has some ideas. (via WWE.com)

Our five-point preview:

1. ‘The Daily Show’ host Jon Stewart will be making an appearance to further his feud with Seth Rollins. In case you’re keeping score at home, a 52-year old comedian with a jokey political talk show is currently in a WrestleMania feud with WWE’s top heel, and he’s gotten a better and more protected feud with Rollins than Dean Ambrose or Roman Reigns.

2. Rapper and Erykah Badu skeleton Wiz Khalifa is being advertised for next week’s Raw, so expect a lot of shilling of that. Hopefully he’ll be there to answer the question, “should they have ever let Cena spit with Wiz Khalifa?”

3. Speaking of Cena, WWE’s building some kind of drama around “will John Cena challenge Rusev for WrestleMania?” as though (a) someone on Earth assumes that isn’t happening, and (b) he didn’t challenge Rusev LAST week and get turned down. Cena knows the solution to every problem is name-calling and punching, so expect a lot of that tonight.

4. Bray Wyatt will wheel out the Concrete Crypt, crack it open and find a man inside who still looks younger than the Undertaker looks right now.

5. Kane will probably be in a handicap match against someone and you’ll go ughhhhh but come on, man, Kane’s gotta eat.

+1 your favorite comments from tonight’s thread and I’ll include 10 of the best in tomorrow’s Best and Worst of Raw column. Enjoy the show, everybody.
