Tensions are always running high in the aftermath of WrestleMania, but no rivalry has intensified in the wake of this year’s Show of Shows like the one between Randy Orton and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Before these allies-turned-nemeses vie for sports-entertainment’s grandest prize in two weeks at Extreme Rules, they’ll first head to London, England, for a special edition of Raw. Our five-point preview:
1. In case you didn’t read the blockquote, this is a pre-taped London Raw, which means that if you’re reading this on Monday afternoon you’ve probably already read the spoilers. My job is to read those, write an Assumptive Raw Spoilers Report ahead of time and try to pass it off as a legit Best and Worst.
2. If you aren’t familiar with London Raws you can expect the following: canned crowd noise, no story development and a bus on the stage.
3. The selling point in the WWE.com preview is “Randy Orton will be there,” if that tells you anything. TUNE IN TO AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF RAW TO SEE MARK HENRY LIVE IN ACTION, FOLKS.
4. The best wrestling news of the day is that AXELMANIA shirts are finally available on WWE Shop two weeks after WrestleMania. Derp! I’m sad they don’t sell the more accurate sleeveless version, but I guess buying a regular one and cutting off the sleeves is part of the Curtis Axel experience.
