WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins claimed he no longer needed The Authority to fight his battles for him, and at Money in the Bank, The Architect proved his self-confidence wasn’t misplaced. Now, having turned back Dean Ambrose once again, “The Future of WWE” looks toward Monday Night Raw — as does newly minted Money in the Bank contract holder Sheamus. Will The Celtic Warrior strike against Rollins, one night after securing his golden opportunity?
Plus, with acclaimed rapper MGK performing on Raw in his hometown of Cleveland, what else is in store on Monday night’s hottest show? WWE.com has some ideas. (via WWE.com)
Our five-point preview:
1. Be sure you’ve read The Best and Worst of WWE Money in the Bank 2015 before watching Raw. It contains important jokes about Titus O’Neil being a Final Fantasy attack.
2. Rapper MGK guest stars! You may remember him as that guy who announced John Cena as THE ULTIMATE UNDERDOG before his match with The Rock at WrestleMania. MGK has never watched wrestling once ever, apparently.
3. Look for Sheamus to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase not for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but for a chance to wrestle Randy Orton in the middle of every Raw for the next 50 weeks.
4. If the Bray Wyatt/Roman Reigns feud begins with anything OTHER than Bray cutting a windy-ass promo in a dark room, let’s consider it a win. I don’t care if it’s a distraction rollup in the middle of a Kofi Kingston/Dolph Ziggler match.
5. Any sightings of Goldust and Stardust tonight will be met with ugly crying.
