Five More Stars Confirmed For ‘WWE 2K16’, Including The Rock, Hogan And A Surprising NXT Name

This year, 2K Games is promising WWE 2K16 will have the most stuffed roster ever because, darnit, bigger is better and more is never enough. Despite their lofty promises, 2K has been a bit tight-lipped about who will be making the roster, only announcing Steve Austin, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Paige and Finn Balor thus far. I wonder if they’ll have unannounced Barrett by the time this game comes out?

Well, the list of known playable wrestlers has now nearly doubled, thanks to a leak from GameStop of Italy. We now know you’ll be able to play as Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Rock, Triple H and Alexa Bliss. The most interesting name of that bunch is actually Alexa Bliss. Hogan, Rock and the rest were kind of expected, but Alexa means they’re diving deeper into the NXT roster than they did last year, when we got all of five guys (one of which was Corey Graves) and no women.

While we’re at it, here’s Seth Rollins going after cover boy Steve Austin.

And Finn Balor filling Cesaro’s old job and doing all the motion capture for the game.

WWE 2K16 and its million wrestlers (and hopefully better gameplay) arrives October 27.
