WWE Raw Results 8/17/15

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Raw results for August 17, 2015. The show featured a face-to-face confrontation between Seth Rollins and the returning John Cena, as well as Brock Lesnar “in the same arena” as The Undertaker. WWE SummerSlam is just six day away.

WWE Raw Results:

– Triple H and Stephanie recapped the SummerSlam card and formally announced that former Daily Show host Jon Stewart will host the pay-per-view.

1. Randy Orton and Cesaro defeated Kevin Owens and Sheamus. Orton tried to RKO Owens, but Owens countered, shoving him into an RKO on Sheamus for the win.

– The Undertaker says he’ll beat Lesnar at SummerSlam, and that Lesnar will never “rest in peace.”

2. Roman Reigns defeated Luke Harper. Reigns pinned Harper after a spear. Dean Ambrose was on color commentary.

3. Becky Lynch defeated Tamina. Lynch won by submission with the Disarmer.

4. Rusev defeated Mark Henry. Lana was on color commentary. Rusev won by submission with The Accolade. After the match, Lana challenged Summer and Rusev to fight her. She slapped Lana, then challenged Rusev. A returning Dolph Ziggler made the save. Dolph will face Rusev at SummerSlam.

5. Ryback defeated The Miz. Big Show was on color commentary. Ryback won by pinfall with Shell Shocked. After the match, Ryback challenged Show, but Show backed down.

– Seth Rollins and John Cena had a contract signing for their match at SummerSlam. Rollins quoted Bob Dylan and called Cena the villain of WWE. Cena promised to make Rollins his bitch at SummerSlam.

6. The Prime Time Players and the Lucha Dragons defeated New Day and Los Matadores. Kalisto scored the pin for his team.

– Stardust gives King Barrett a new set of shoulderpads and dubs him the “Cosmic King.”

7. Sasha Banks defeated Nikki Bella. This wasn’t for the Divas Championship, of course. Naomi caused a distraction, allowing Sasha to hit the Banks Statement on Bella for the submission win.

– Paul Heyman cut a promo about how The Undertaker is afraid of Brock Lesnar. Undertaker teleported into the ring, kicked Lesnar in the crotch and chokeslammed him. Brock tried to recover, so Undertaker Tombstoned him. Taker posed over Brock’s body to end the show.
