WWE Finally Topped Baby Nursery Rhymes To Become The World’s Top YouTube Channel

Bolstered by SummerSlam clips, WWE’s YouTube channel has now been ranked the most popular channel on the entire video-streaming website. That’s right! Suck it, guys who mumble over video game footage, Taylor Swift’s Vevo, and whatever a Little Baby Bum is! Match clips, highlight videos, and backstage ‘exclusives’ pushed the channel to the top of the worldwide heap in August.

Slamming its way into the top spot on the worldwide chart is WWE. The YouTube home of all things World Wrestling Entertainment easily claimed the first-place position, amassing almost 456.4 million views in the 31 days of August. LittleBabyBum and its repository of classic Western songs for your English-speaking toddlers came in second place. The musical channel’s videos were played more than 448.4 million times during the month.

I’m going to trust whatever this website says Little Baby Bum is, mostly because I don’t want to ruin my carefully-honed YouTube recommendations of animals pushing shopping carts, indie wrestling, and Leslie Nielsen-related videos (I am a complicated lady don’t judge me). But man, how great would it be if WWE got wind of this, and instead of a fancy bumper graphic celebrating their achievement, they just got WWE stars to cut promos on a video channel for actual babies? New Day saying MORE LIKE LITTLE BOOTY BUM while Xavier Woods plays the Final Fantasy VII fight music, or Seth Rollins reenacting that time Snitsky icked a baby by kicking an actual baby?

Okay, yeah, don’t listen to me. A bumper graphic will suffice.
