Watch John Cena Do The Whip/Nae Nae With A Breast Cancer Survivor

Full confession: I only had a vague notion of what the Whip/Nae Nae was before this video. If you had told me that Silento was a AAA young boy announced for the second season of Lucha Underground, I’d believe you 100 percent. I mean, I have spent the better part of the last few days complaining about the way kids these days wear their hats, I am super not the person to ask about current trends in literally anything. All I know is you do this if you’re a popular athlete who wants to make a sports celebration go viral, and John Cena probably had less of a notion as to how to Whip and/or Nae Nae than I did.

WWE’s partnership with Susan G. Komen raises a lot of very valid questions about the dangers of pink-washing and breast cancer charities, but it also gives a spotlight to some amazing women who are both fighting breast cancer, and learning to live their lives after the disease. Ashlee Hunt is fighting cancer for the second time, and working to support others in the survivor community. She also gracefully agreed to teach John Cena the Whip/Nae Nae. That is one brave lady.
