While at the time of this writing, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has yet to release a statement on the matter, Us Weekly has confirmed that The Rock is smelling his second child entering this world — this time with longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian — with an expected due date in January. Johnson already has a 14-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, who is also his business partner in a variety of multimedia projects.
Radar Online started circulating the news yesterday, with source telling them that, “Dwayne and Lauren couldn’t be more thrilled. They’ve been rock solid for about nine years now and felt it was time to expand their family.”
The wrestler-turned-actor-producer can be seen on the recent Blu-ray/DVD release of Furious 7, as well as the upcoming DVD release of San Andreas. Johnson’s series on HBO, Ballers, also just wrapped up its first season, and he’s currently busy shooting Central Intelligence with Kevin Hart. In a recent cover story for Esquire, Johnson made it a point to comment on how happy his life has been with Hashian.
I’ve lived with my longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, going on, like, eight, nine years now. She’s a singer-songwriter. We spend a lot of time with my daughter in Florida, Simone, who’s 13. We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn’t mentioned and my daughter isn’t mentioned. I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there.
