Hulk Hogan Is Tweeting For His Right To Use The N-Word, Isn’t Racist

Hulk Hogan has been handling the whole “n-word” fiasco pretty well for someone whose legendary career just went up in smoke. He put out an apology, said some prayer-y things on Twitter and laid low. Then, on Sunday night, he decided to share the support he’s been getting, mostly in the form of “look at black and white people in the same picture,” and “here’s you being nice to black people.” It was silly, but I get the sentiment: “I can’t hate black people because here’s pictures of me not lynching them.”

But things took a turn for the worse as Hogan decided to go the “if black people can say it, how come I can’t?” approach.

This never works out. It’s defensive, ignorant and basically a double down on him not thinking what he did was too wrong. That’s a disaster. Also, let’s not forget that Obama was using the word as an example of what people say to him, and Hogan was actively calling someone a n*gger. I’m pretty sure someone in the comments is going to ask that same question, though, so I’ll kindly ask that those comments be met with GIFs of wrestling botches. Because that would make me happier to see.
