Jeff Hardy Says He Wants To Headline WrestleMania Before He Retires

Jeff Hardy is going to be out of commission for most of 2016, but it’s not stopping him from hoping for a big return. He recently joined Ric Flair on his podcast WOOOOO! Nation, where he revealed two of his biggest bucket list items in pro wrestling:

I’ve done most of everything I’ve wanted to do, but I guess there [are] two big things. I mean, and those two big things are I never got to do a Hell in a Cell in the WWE. That’s a pretty big one. And I’ve never main evented WrestleMania, so, ultimately, if it could all work out one day before it’s all over, I’d like to do those two things.

I’m not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE and it’d be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure.

Jeff Hardy’s already had a light-up world title belt with his face on it, been allowed to refer to his fans as “creatures” out loud where everyone can hear him, and resurrected his old pre-WWE Willow gimmick, giving us this little piece of heaven. There really isn’t that much left for him to accomplish in TNA, and closing out your career in WWE is all the rage right now. Headlining WrestleMania is probably a stretch, but a return could easily happen if he can stay healthy. Though he wants it to happen, and his soon-to-be-expired TNA contract would allow it, only time will tell if we’ll get the WWE version of a TNA rehashing of a WWE feud that happened fifteen years ago.
