Jim Ross Isn’t Dead, Despite What You Might Have Heard

WWE Hall of Famer and legendary play-by-play man “Good ol'” Jim Ross was the victim of a Twitter hacking and death hoax on Sunday afternoon. His account, @JRsBBQ, posted the following:

The account is suspended as of the time of this posting, but here’s the good news: the 63-year old Ross is very much alive, and, as far as I know, has no opinion on Leeds United. The death hoax is a social media classic which routinely kills Hulk Hogan, as well as other, “well, I might believe that” celebrities like Macaulay Culkin and Hugh Hefner.

The day that Jim Ross dies will be a sad one, but it’s not today.
