John Cena Hung Out With Blink-182 And Talked About His WWE Anniversary On ‘GMA’

As he was happy to remind you on Raw last night, Monday marked John Cena‘s 14th anniversary competing in WWE. (He also publicly hoped for 14 more years, which — shudder — might not be a stretch, given his freakish healing capabilities.) To continue his celebration — as well as promote his upcoming ESPYs hosting gig on July 13 — The Face That Runs The Place went to Good Morning America this morning where he hobnobbed with Blink-182 With Rome (or whatever they’re called now) and got chatted up by Robin Roberts about his 14 years of service.

Cena also talked about his ongoing work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, saying, “If you can do what you do during the day and make somebody smile and make their day a better day, you provide that hope for them to move forward.”

Sadly, Cena didn’t perform with Blink-182, nixing the dream mashup so many of us have wanted since first hearing You Can’t See Me back in 2005. (Oh, that was just me? Whatevs.) But it’s not like it’s an impossible dream: Blink drummer Travis Barker did perform at WrestleMania 31 with Skylar Grey—and there was that time that someone made CAWs for all three members of Blink-182 and put them in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009:
